This Lesson 5 video indroduces the terms "Star Hands" and "Piano Hands". Star Hands are flat and spread out - either the paper pointer hands or a real hand held in the spread out flattened (star) position. Piano hands have curved fingers with all joints nicely bent. The joint near the end of the fingers tends to collapse when beginners play the piano, so it is important that the finger be made strong - very simple procedure - just make circles!
